This is the old part of Havana that offers many interesting places to see.Obispo
Calle Obispo connects Central Part in Centro Havana to Plaze de Armes in Havana Vieja. It is the heart of Old Havana, with many shops, galleries, bars and restaurants.This is the best place to enjoy the mixure of tourists and locals.
Plaza de Armas
This plaza is the oldest is Havana Vieja. It is a good place to rest,
enjoy the local street bands and the famous book market,
where many of the books are about Cuba's revolution heros Fidel Castro and Che Guevara.
Catedral de San Cristobal
A beautiful church at Plaza de la CatedralEl Malecon
A three mile long promenade, stretching from Havana Vieja to Vedado, offers a great view to the Gulf of Mexico. At sunset time the place is even more beautiful and tranquile.Castillo del Morro
Impressive fortress at the entrance to Havana bay.Inside, there is an exibition on the lighthouses of Cuba.
Gran Teatro de la Habana

Centro Havana
El Capitolio
The National Capitol building, completed in 1929, was the seat of government in Cuba until the Cuban revolution (1959). Now it hosts the Cuban Academy of Sciences. Its name and architecture design resemble the US Capitol.The Museum of the Revolution
It used to be the Presidential Palace of Cuban presidents, and after the Cuban revolution it turned into the Museum of the Revolution.The exhibits in the museum are mostly devoted to Castro's revolution and post-revolution history.
You will also find here some info about pre-revolutionary Cuba, including Cuba's War of Independence against Spain.
Paseo de Marti
The locals call it Prado, it is a nice boulevard that links the National Capitol to the Malecon.Casa de la musica Centro Havana

Located on the Malecon - a perfect location for tourists. The hotel is beautiful, it's lobby is like a small museum of Cuban history.If you don't stay at Hotel Nacional in Havana, at least pay it a visit as you go along the Malecon.
